By now, we hope you’ve had a chance to review your Home page and Start Here page. If not, please take a minute to do so and then come back here for everything you need to know about your United Way membership!

In less than 3 minutes, Carole will walk you through what to expect as a UW NEXT member and how to make the most of the resources available to you. She’ll highlight the programs, links, and benefits designed to support your organization no matter where you’re at in your UW journey. Plus, as we continue to grow, so will this space!     Welcome to the United Way NEXT membership hub. This is designed specifically with local United Way's and State Associations in mind.

    My name is Carol Peters and I'm proud to serve as a President and CEO of United Way NEXT.

    We have been thinking about you for the last 3.5 years and designing programs and resources specifically with you in mind.

    Local United ways across the country, and even internationally, have been really excited about the resources that have been provided so far.

    So we've taken this opportunity to create a membership hub where you can explore all of the resources that are made available right at your fingertips.

    This content is rich and it's so valuable and we know that you'll be super excited to explore further.

    I’d like to draw attention to our consultant collaborative directory.

    The consultant collaborative is more than 60+ consultants who are currently interested in serving across the network as a go-to resource for United Ways specifically.

    If you haven't already tapped into the Consultant Directory I encourage you to do so.

    There are consultants, coaches, and even contract workers available. Think, fractional CFO, marketing support, and even guest speakers for an upcoming special event that you're hosting at your United Way.

    We want to ensure that this incredible talent pool is tapped into by all of the local United Ways that support United Way next.

    If you happen upon this resource, and you know of someone else who could benefit, be sure to refer that local United Way directly to me because I'd love to have the conversation of how they can get involved with United Way NEXT.

    Some of the other benefits that are within this hub are the professional development learning sessions.

    All of those can also be found on our website and we do record all of the sessions (except NEXT Chapter Chats).

    So if you haven't already looked through the playlist of the different subjects that are out there, I would encourage you to do so.

    We have a playlist for Planned Giving, our Community Roundtables that are centered around equity, inclusion and belongingness. We also had a Wellness Series, Personal Discovery and leadership development sessions. Take a look at all of the different resources that are available for you.

    I'd like to end this by just saying thank you for the opportunity to connect with you directly.

    Many of you have invited me to participate in team meetings, some of your information sessions about your employee benefits, and more.

    I am always standing at the ready to participate in any of the meetings that you might be hosting where you and your team could benefit from hearing more about the valuable resources available to you through your United Way NEXT membership.
