United Way NEXT CEO, Carole Peters Thanks 2024 Volunteers

Happy Fall!
Over the past two years, United Way NEXT has undergone significant changes, focusing on becoming a go-to resource for the United Way Network in partnership with United Way Worldwide and United Way state associations. Forging a strong partnership with UWW and state associations has allowed UW NEXT to find ways to fill gaps where we can be of service.

Time has been invested in identifying opportunities for our members who choose to volunteer their time to engage in new ways of supporting UW NEXT and the UW network. Our members are the best volunteers, serving with a “community first” mentality and big hearts. Our members choose to serve in various ways from joining a UW NEXT work group to being a local UW staff mentor and reconnecting with current or former colleagues. We are proud that UW NEXT offers many ways for our members to make connections that are making a difference.

Today we pause to celebrate the many volunteers who have positively impacted our UW NEXT community over the past year. We honor every individual who has generously given their time, talent, and inspiration. Your dedication to United Way NEXT has forever changed the countless lives touched. New friendships have been formed, stories have been shared, memories have been made, and lives have been impacted.

On behalf of the UW NEXT Board of Directors, Staff, Members, and local United Way staff—thank YOU to our UW NEXT Volunteers for being YOU and sharing from the heart.

We acknowledge all our members who have contributed to our success this past year:

On behalf of the UW NEXT Team, I am grateful for your investment in United Way NEXT and express my heartfelt appreciation for your impact on the UW network and our community.

With Gratitude,
Carole Peters
