United Way NEXT serves as the go-to resource for advice, strategy, connections, and interim leadership solutions. For former and current United Way leaders, United Way NEXT is a vibrant, wise, and welcoming network of peers, mentors and colleagues that provides ways to stay engaged and connected.

We accomplish this by leveraging member commitment to the betterment of United Way, their communities, and themselves through continued connection, service, and inspiration. United Way NEXT strives to be an inclusive, diverse network of leaders who share a profound sense of purpose and belonging.

United Way NEXT Community Commitment

United Way NEXT harnesses the passion and experience of current and former United Way professionals for the betterment of each other, the United Way network, and our communities. In achieving this purpose, we aim to create member experiences that enhance a sense of value and belonging by:

  • Valuing the visible and invisible qualities that make each of us who we are;

  • Believing that every person brings unique perspectives and experiences;
